Não é de hoje que vemos o governo do estado se colocando intransigentemente contra os interesses dos professores, estudantes e dos demais trabalhadores da educação. Mas o que esse governo coloca de novidade é uma nova proposta de organização das escolas da rede estadual, que vai realocar cerca de 1 milhão de estudantes, para que escolas que hoje atendem a três ou duas das etapas escolares (fundamental I, fundamental II e ensino médio) passem a atender somente a uma deles, concentrando alunos de uma mesma faixa etária em cada unidade e reduzindo o número de aulas disponíveis por meio da fixação de professores. O problema é que essa novidade só traz mais do mesmo. No atual período de crise, não há setor que esteja a salvo dos cortes e dos ataques descarados que o Estado impõe como carros-chefe de suas políticas.
A superlotação de salas de aula, a precarização do ensino e a política de demissões que decorrerão do fechamento das escolas são alguns elementos que se tornaram corriqueiros em São Paulo e só tendem a se agravar. Com o congelamento das contratações, a relutância do governo estadual em pagar os dias parados dos professores estaduais grevistas, podemos perceber que a postura do governo não aponta para nenhuma melhora, e por isso um horizonte de luta não pode ser perdido.
Sem perder esse horizonte, professores, pais, funcionários e estudantes fazem eclodir campanhas, paralisações, piquetes e atos por todas as regiões do estado. A necessidade de não recuar frente aos ataques e os cortes que vem com a crise se mostra clara. O governo não quer mais gastar com educação porque não quer gastar com os trabalhadores, e é na nossa carne que tentam cortar quando a situação aperta. A privatização é um processo que vem sendo apresentado nas diversas áreas do setor público, visando somente o lucro das empresas e ainda mais benefícios para os patrões, e a reorganização das escolas também ocorre nesse sentido.
Apoiamos completamente as lutas que se iniciaram nos últimos dias contra a reorganização da rede estadual, e reiteramos a necessidade da juventude e de todos os trabalhadores a se unirem, unirem-se as categorias, sindicatos e movimentos numa luta incessante e igualmente intransigente aos ataques que nos impõem. Só assim barraremos os golpes que vem sendo colocados pelos governos estadual e federal e de todos os patrões!
